Plate Heat Exchanger Sourcing

Plate Heat Exchanger Sourcing is the name of this independent sourcing partner. The role is to collect a usable duty sheet, request factory quotes, and compare included versus excluded lines. Manufacturing, material certificates, leak testing and thermal acceptance stay with the equipment supplier named in any later contract. We do not claim factory ownership, audited-vendor status, or appointment by any OEM.

Supplier responsibilities

This desk coordinates inquiries. It does not replace the supplier’s selection calculation, the buyer’s process data, or the site contractor’s piping design.

Supplier responsibilities: Upstream

Confirm that both fluids, including cleaning chemicals, are compatible with the offered plate grade and with copper brazing or the named gasket. State the selection at the buyer’s four temperatures and two flow rates, not at a catalog example duty.

Control boundary

Name design pressure versus operating pressure, predicted pressure drop, and whether the unit can be opened. If a packaged pump, valve or transmitter is included, state connected load, three-phase supply and PLC interface. If those items are buyer-furnished, say so in writing.

Downstream

Define FAT leak records, packing, documents that travel with the unit, and SAT support hours. Spare plates, gaskets and hanging tools are supplier-scope only when listed. Training is not implied by a machine line item.

Buyer still supplies process data, quantity, destination, optional budget and the preference for documentation depth. Coordinator restacks replies on the same assumption list. Supplier confirms feasibility, documents and commercial inclusions. Engineering acceptance remains a contract matter between buyer and named factory. Adjacent equipment, stock claims and percentage discounts are outside this role.
